Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the repair cost?
Prices vary depending on the labor and parts required, which is why we provided a free diagnosis by a trained technician.
Remember, there is no charge for an estimate or if we can't repair your console.
Prices range from $59.99 (USD) to a maximum of $119.99 (USD), plus return
shipping and handling. This price includes all parts and labor. Most repairs are $99.99. All
repairs come with a 90 DAY WARRANTY!
NEW 1 YEAR WARRANTY AVAILABLE. You now have the option of a 1 year warranty instead of our standard 90 day warranty.
Our standard 90 day warranty includes parts and labor for the entire 90 days, as well as shipping the item back to you and full support by our dedicated customer service team. The 1 year option should be requested at time of repair, and we cover both parts and labor for the initial 30 days. After 30 days, any warranty claims must go through a third-party that we have contracted with, which will cover parts for 1 year and labor for 90 days.
We also offer a 30 minute rush repair service for local customers for a flat fee (please call for pricing and availability).
What if I don't approve of the repair estimate?
After sending your console in and receiving a free diagnosis and repair estimate,
you have the option of either approving the repair, or requesting that the
console be returned. If you choose to have the console returned
unrepaired, there is no fee for the diagnosis and estimate; you only pay return
shipping.
Do you offer upgrade services?
Yes, we can upgrade your PlayStation product upon request, such as upgrading the hard drive size. Please call for options and pricing.
Should I send power cords, A/V cables, controllers, etc?
You only need to send the console. Please do not include any games, original
packaging, or accessories (i.e. controllers, cables, etc.).
What is your turnaround time?
Once we receive your system and receive your approval to proceed with the repair, turnaround time is typically just 1-2 business days. We also offer a 30 minute rush repair service for local customers.
What if you can't repair my PlayStation?
We are able to successfully repair the vast majority of PlayStation repair orders that we receive. In the rare event that your console is unrepairable, you have the option of either receiving a refund for the repair price, or using the repair price as a credit towards a heavily discounted replacement console.
Will I lose all of my game saves and other data?
Unless your problem is related to a faulty memory card or hard drive, you will not lose any of your saved games or other information.
I opened my consoles or removed the warranty seal. Will you still fix my PlayStation?
Absolutely! We successfully repair over 95% of the PlayStation repair orders we receive, regardless of whether or not the console has been opened previously.
